Nicky Earl Wade

NICKY EARL WADE, age 79 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn., a son of the late Ola Ira and Elizabeth Belk Wade and preceded in death by his wife: Linda Kay Godsey Wade. He retired from Heil Corp. after 33 years of service as a Welder Fabricator. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Vietnam. He was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. He was Past Master of Meridan Sun Lodge #50 and was Shriner.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-in-law: Robert Mark and Brenna Wade of Knoxville, Tenn. Two Grandsons: Jeremiah Wade and Joshua Wade Great-Granddaughter: Oaklynn Wade.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in McMinn Memory Gardens with officiating. Active pallbearers Don Wilson, Don Wade, Ken Green, Jeremiah Wade, Joshua Wade, and Ray Cunningham. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Tuesday in the funeral home.
