Louise Cox Bohannon age 91   of Athens passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023  at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Louise was the daughter of the late Albert and Lucille Miller Cox. She was an employee of Ridge Textile Mill and a house wife , a member of Clearwater Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Otto Bohannon, Son: Steven Ray Bohannon,  and one brother Louis Cox. 
Survivors;
One son and two daughters-in-law;
Mike and Sandi Bohannon of Athens, Tenn. 
 Kimberly Bohannon   of Athens
One sister;
Peggy Jean Carver of Athens
Four grandchildren; Alisha and Triston Letner, Jacob Bohannon, Emily Bohannon and Michael Bohannon.
Great Granddaughter: Alayna Letner
several nieces and nephews
Graveside service will be  11:00 A.M. at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev Jimmy  Jackson officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael, Jacob, Tommy, Glenn Bohannon, Lynn Moore and Tristen Letner.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
