James "Jim" Brian Murphy

Jim  Murphy, age 61 of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. A native of Ohio and a resident of Madisonville for several years, he was an employee of Dynasty Spas. He was a skilled woodworker and craftsman, and enjoyed fishing and outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father; William Murphy, and long time girlfriend, Anca Dumitrache; sister-in-law, Kimberley Murphy.
Survivors include his son, Joseph Carl Murphy; grandson, Chance Murphy; mother, Margaret Estep Murphy of Ten Mile; brother, Tim Murphy of Cookeville; sister, Jennifer Bryan (James) of Roxboro, NC; Several nieces and nephews.
