Dana Marie Barnes

DANA MARIE BARNES, age 46 of Riceville, Tenn. went to be with the Lord  Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens, Tenn. She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn. and preceded in death by Father-in-law: Dennis Barnes and Grandmother: Opal Harper.  She was a former employee of Mills Products.  
Survivors: Husband of 28 years: Dennis Alan Barnes of Riceville, Tenn. Daughter: Monica Barnes of Riceville, Tenn. Father and Mother: Mitch Teague of Riceville, Tenn. and  Donna Teague of Athens , Tenn.  Biological Father:  Danny Grady of Cleveland, Tenn.,  Sister and Brother-in-law: Deanette and Wayne Cline of Decatur, Tenn.  several nieces and nephews.  Mother-in-law: Pat and Gary Gibson of Riceville, Tenn.  Sister-in-law: Stephanie Todd of Riceville, Tenn. Step Sister and Brother-in-law: Christi and Jimmy Long, Two Step Brothers: Michael Scott and Josh Scott.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Long officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 9, 2023 in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jase Spicer, Nathan Hyde, David Harper, Mike Teague, Ray Teague, and Wayne Cline.
