Charles Fredrick Maddox

CHARLES FREDRICK (BUSTER) MADDOX,  age 88 of Calhoun, Tenn. passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, in Life Care of Athens. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn., a son of the late Fred and Veda Rowland Maddox, Sister: Estell (Snookie) Erwin, Daughter: Anita Jo (Maddox) Norton and Grandson: Randall Adam Maddox. He retired from Bowater Paper Mill with 45 years of service and was of the Baptist Faith. 
Survivors: Two Sons and Daughters-in-law: Charles B. (Butch)  and Cindi  Maddox of Calhoun   Randall E. (Randy)  and Debbie Maddox of Calhoun, Tenn., Sister: Louise Underwood Myles of Spring City, Tenn., 5 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 23, 2023 in Calhoun Cemetery  with Rev. Randy Maddox officiating. Pallbearers will be Brad Maddox , Aaron Maddox, Tyler Norton, Jayden Maddox, Camus Crisp, and Caden Crisp. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike , Roger and David Crittenden, Clint Maddox,  and Bobby Underwood.   The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the funeral home.
