Pat Cantrell Torbett

PAT CANTRELL TORBETT, age 82 of Englewood, Tn. passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center. He was native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn.and a son of the late Fred and Mary Lee Cantrell Torbett and was born with his Identical Brother: Jerry Cantrell Torbett of which they were inseparable all through their lives. He graduated from McMinn County High School in 1956 and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College (now TWU). At age 15 after their father passed away, they went to work part-time at Mayfield Dairy Farms where their father worked since the beginning of Mayfield's Pat and Jerry retired from Mayfield's in 2000. In 1958 Pat married Betty Sue Davis and had two Daughters: Patti Ann Torbett Kincaid and Paula Annette Torbett. Their Grandchildren are Lacey Ann Kincaid Martin (Caleb),  Lindsey Brook Kincaid Faulkner (Caleb)  and Cassandra Nicole Torbett and Great Grandchildren: Easton Colt Martin and Diesel Ruger Faulkner. "Pops" as he was lovingly known, loved his family very much. He was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church where he served in many capacities over the years among which were choir member, Deacon, RA Leader and Training Union Director. 
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Friday in Wildwood Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Vest and Dickie Slack officiating. Family and friends will meet  Saturday at McMinn Memory Gardens  for a 2:00 P.M. Graveside service with Rev. Bill Vest and  Jerry Stephens officiating. . Active pallbearers will be William Barnett, Ira Hill, Caleb Martin, Caleb Faulkner, Travis Barnett, Robby Davis, Keith Davis, and Dustin Davis. The casket will lie-in-state from 4-7 Friday at the church.
