James Kenneth Bunch

JAMES KENNETH BUNCH,  age 87 of Decatur, Tenn. went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born in McMinn County, Tenn. , a lifelong resident of Meigs  County, Tenn. , a son of the late George Marshall and Willie Marie White  Bunch Campbell (Parley Campbell)  and preceded in death by a son: Michael Bunch Brothers: J. W. (Dorothy) Bunch, John (Betty) Bunch, Paul (Dorothy) Bunch and Sisters: Ellen (Bill) Carter, and Ella Mae Bunch,  He was a long time member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Meigs  Masonic Lodge #213 and was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army. James retired from TVA at Watts Bar where he worked at the steam plant and later as a property maintenance worker until he retired. He loved his family dearly and his granddaughter: Auburn who was his light of life. He enjoyed farming cattle and planting gardens. 
Survivors: Wife  of 64 years: Vera Virginia Bunch of Decatur, Tenn., Daughter and son-in-law: Darlene and Mitch Harden of Decatur, Tenn., Granddaughter: Auburn Harden of  Decatur, Tenn.,  Sister and Brother-in-law: Geraldine and Jim King of Buckhorn, Brother and Sister-in-law: Wallace and Nancy Hall of Ringgold, Ga. several nieces and nephews, Special Friend: Mary McKenzie
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Dump Armor and Gary Roland officiating.

Interment will follow in Decatur Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be members of Meigs Masonic Lodge #213.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon in the church.

The family would like to thank Caris Hospice Care for the kindness and help through this difficult time and to all that called and came by offering support.

Please continue to lift them up to the Lord in Prayer.
