Gerald James Litchford

GERALD JAMES LITCHFORD, age 72 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, in Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens, Tenn. He was a native and resident  of Chicago, Ill. for 40 years, former resident of Rockford, Ill, and resident of McMinn County for 12 years. He was a son of the late James Audie and June Rose Eccles Litchford and preceded in death by Sister: Virginia Lee. He retired from Paccar Parts Inc. in Rockford, Ill. He was a member of Woodward Church of God and was a member Chilhowee Gun Club and was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the  Vietnam Conflict 
Wife of 40 years: Kathleen Josephine Cygan Litchford of Athens, Tenn. Two Sons: Gerald Litchford of Russellville, Ala., Jason Litchford and Fiancee: Crystal  of Rockford, Ill. Step-son: Kenneth Babeckis  Two Sisters and brother-in-law: Diane and Curtis  Thomas of Athens, Ala., Debra Blachowicz of Athens, Ala. several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held Wednesday. Entombment will be in McMinn Memory Gardens.
