Carol Brown Arnwine, age 65 of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Starr Regional Medical Center-Athens.
A native of Riceville and life-long resident of Athens she was a daughter of the late William and Johnnie Mae (Looney) Brown, and was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Frances (Massingale) Looney and William Edward and Lucy (Simpson) Brown. 
A member of Greater Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and was formerly employed at McKeehan Chair Company.  For those that knew Ms. Carol well knew that she referred to herself as a Doctor, Lawyer and Indian Chief.
Survivors:
Daughter, B'anca Arnwine of Athens;
Her Twin children, Taryn Arnwine (Chris) of Niota and Delondra "Fat Cat" Arnwine  of Athens;
1 sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Mitchell Brown of Athens;
2 brothers and sister-in-law, Anthony and Caroline Brown andTimothy Brown all of Athens;
Grandchildren, Jacoby Alston, Dre Sanders, Deandre Clark, Camryn Harris, Tylen Arnwine, Casey Hackler, Olliver Arnwine, Jeremiah Arnwine and Annika Arnwine.
Special Niece, Kayla Anderson
Dear Friend, Thomas E. Allen.
Special Aunt, Clara Ramsey and Family;
Special cousins, Gloria "Sister" Looney and Grace Swafford;
Special Friend Sara Lee Jones;
Several other nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Greater Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Eady and Rev. Todd Humbert officiating. 

Interment will follow in Hammonds Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews. 

The family will receive friends 2-3 PM Sunday prior to the service at the church.
