Wilma Catherine Blandford

Wilma Catherine Tallent Blandford age 87 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at her residence.

She was a native and life-long resident of Englewood, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Lula Mae Hairrell Tallent and was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church and was a very active member of the Senior Center where she worked as the nutritionist for many years.

Survivors:

Husband of 25 years, Thomas Blandford;

4 step-sons, Thomas Blandford, Jr., William Joseph Blandford, John Matthews Blandford and Michael Andrew Blandford;

Nepew, Jim Jones;

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, August 11, 2025 at Wildwood Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Vest officiating.
