William "Butch" Reed Crabtree

WILLIAM REED "BUTCH" CRABTREE, age 72 of Niota, Tenn. passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his reidence. He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn, a son of the James William "Joe" and Iris Lavonne Wallace Crabtree and preceed in death by Son: James Richard Crabtree. He was a former employee Athens Furniture and from Creech Fire Co.

Survivors: Wife of 43 years: Diana Lynn Gore Crabtree of Niota, Tenn. Daughter; Shaylon Doughty of Nashville, Tenn. Two Sons: Chris (Laura) Crabtree of Decatur, Tenn., Greg (Rebecca) Crabtree of Spring City, Tenn., Two Brother: Ricky (Mona) Crabtree of Niota, Tenn. David Ross (Wendy) Crabtree of Martin, Ga. Two Sisters: Debbie McDaniel of Ft. Payne, Ala. Dianne Vonette Crabtree of Athens, Tenn. 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
