Warren Franklin Skelton

WARREN FRANKLIN SKELTON, age 81 of Niota TN. passed away June 28, 2025 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Niota, he is the son of the late Millard and Mildred Warren Skelton.

He is preceded in death by Sisters; Martha Sue Jackson, Stella Jo Tate and Irma Ruth Hill.

He was a veteran of the Air Force in the 60s. He enjoyed fishing but most importantly loved spending time with family, friends. and his lovely grandchildren. He was an Elder for 40 years and most recently at Sweetwater Church of Christ. He enjoyed a good Bible discussion. He was a master of repairs and often found supervising his son's projects. He was a successful self-employed home-builder and contractor and the people loved the work he did.

Survivors: Wife of 56 Years; Becky Skelton, Children; Cristi (Michael) Holbrook of Marietta GA, Kara (Paul) Shivers of Wilmington NC, and Casey (Melanie) Skelton of Niota, Grandchildren; Rebecca Holbrook, Chase Holbrook, Jemma Skelton and Reno Skelton.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Sweetwater Church of Christ. The family will receive family and friends from 5-6:30 prior to the service.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Tennessee Children's Home in Spring Hill, where he served on the board of directors for several years.
