Shirley Wanda Costner Crabtree

SHIRLEY WANDA COSTNER CRABTREE, age 84 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, in Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens, Tenn. She was a native of Monroe County, Tenn., resident most of her life of McMinn County, Tenn., a daughter of the late James Mose and Margaret Arp Costner and preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Glenn Lee Crabtree, Sr., Brothers: Oscar Costner and Fred Costner, Sisters: Verna Jaynes. She retired from Kroger’s Grocery. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Niota.

Survivors: Glenn Lee "Wink" and Vicki Crabtree of Knoxville, Tenn., Robbie D. Crabtree of Madisonville, Tenn., Two Grandchildren: Andrew Christian Crabtree and Betsy Ann Crabtree, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Reed Springs Cemetery with Andrew Crabtree officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
