Sheryl Marlene Stowe was born on December 28, 1973, in Melbourne, Florida to parents Dell and Linda Humphrey. Sheri, her parents, and two older sisters lived in Palm Bay at thet ime, later in Melbourne Beach, then later moved to Satellite Beach where she attended DeLaura Junior High and Satellite High School. One of Sheri's favorite jobs was working at the Florida Today paper as an advertisement rep and ad designer. She also loved working with animals as a veterinary admin assistant in both Florida and Tennessee. Everyone who worked with Sheri loved her greatly. She would do anything for anyone and gave her job assignments all her heart.

Sheri married the love of her life, Benny Stowe, in 2004. They met in Florida, lived in Christmas for ten years, then later moved to Tennessee, their current home. Benny always named her "my beautiful wife" and would do anything for her. Together, they loved race cars, wrestling and football. Sheri was a fierce fan of Alabama (Roll Tide!) – much to the dismay of Tennessee fans and the Miami Dolphins. She just recently became a baseball fan after experiencing an historic World Series. She loved rooting for the Dodgers just because her sis wanted the Blue Jays to win. She loved healthy and fun competition. Her sense of humor often won over people’s hearts.

Sheri was a beautiful soul...still is. She was a simple girl, wanted to love and to be loved. Her family will miss her more than words can say. She loved aggravating her older sisters. She loved to tattle, "I'm tellin" was her favorite thing to say. Every single Christmas Eve growing up, she slept with them in the same bed, giggling until way after midnight, too excited to sleep. We would take turns peeking through the door to see if we could see anything. One time, Sheri heard Mom saying, "I don't want rats in my house!" Sheri said "Yay! we're getting hamsters!"

Sheri loved deeply, from the depths of her heart; her nieces and nephews were the lights of her life. She made sure they had birthday and Christmas presents even when finances were tight. They love their Shoo Shoo. Please know, sweet Sissy, your sisters love you with all our hearts. We will miss you every day until we see you again.

Sheryl passed away on November 8, 2025, in Athens, TN surrounded by her immediate family. She is survived by her mother, Linda Humphrey; her husband, Benny Stowe; her two sisters, Sandy Johnson and Suzan Wilson; her adored nieces and nephews: Lindsey, Seth, Adam, Buster, Abbie, Samantha, and Chase. Unlimited friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles have blessed Sheri, and we are forever grateful for those who have shown her so much love.
