Sandra Jo Ratledge

SANDRA JO (NIPPER) RATLEDGE, age 69, of Cleveland passed away Monday, Feb 19, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness. A native of McMinn County and a resident of Cleveland since 1971, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Beulah Cline Nipper. She graduated from McMinn County High School and held a BA from Tennessee Wesleyan College and a Master's of Education from the University of Tennessee. She was a member of Big Spring  United Methodist Church and was a retired school teacher from Cleveland City School System. She was a member of various educational associations both local and national.

Survivors;

• Husband of 48 years; Stephen Ratledge of Cleveland, TN
• One son; Shane Stephen Ratledge of Tallahassee, Florida
• One sister and brother-in-law, Jaquetta N. and Ron Culberson of Nashville
• A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, February 23, 2018 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Huffer officiating.

The interment will be at McMinn Memory Gardens following the funeral.

The pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday February 22, 2018 at the funeral home.
