Ruby Kirk Bolden

RUBY KIRK BOLDEN, age 80 of Niota passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Willow Acres Assisted Living. 

She was born in Jonesville, Va., resident of Dayton, Ohio most of her life, and resident of Niota, Tenn. since 1975. She was a daughter of the late Guy and Mary Alice Miles Kirk.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by: 

• Husband, Harold E. Bolden;
• Two sisters, Mary Titer and Kathy Thompson;
• Three  brothers, John Kirk, Ross Kirk and Billy Ray Kirk;
• Grandson, Michael Clayton.

Survivors:

• Four daughters and son-in-law, Dolores (Doodle) and Dale Owenby of Athens, Tenn., Patricia Clayton of Athens, Tenn., Tina Branham of Athens, Tenn., Shirley Witt of Maryville, Tenn;
• Son, William Bolden of Florida;
• Several grandchildren and great grandchildren,
• Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2018  in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Watson officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 25, 2018 in Union-McMinn Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be family.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the funeral home.
