Roxie Ann Colloms Harris, age 76 of Athens, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 5, 2026 at The Groves of Athens Assisted Living.
Roxie was a native and life long resident of McMinn County and grew up in Riceville. She was a graduate of McMinn County High School and attended Cleveland State Community College. She was a past employee of Athens Products having worked there until it's closing. She worked as a Quality Control Inspector and later retired from Creative Foams in Athens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Dee and Mary Helen Stephenson Colloms, her husband Don A. Harris; her brothers, Wayne Dee Colloms and Stephen (Steve) Colloms.
Survivors
Her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Don Reed of Niota;
Her niece Heather Michelle Colloms;
Nephews, Bradley Dee Colloms, Stephen Chad (Lorie) Colloms, Adam William (Jill) Reed, Andrew (Andy) Reed, Shane (Donna) Partain and Brandon (Patty) Partain. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Roxie loved her family very much.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Tuesday June 9, 2026 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Veterans National Cemetery in Chattanooga where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Rev. Teddy Harris will be officiating.
