Roger Alan Walsh

ROGER ALAN WALSH,  age 65 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. after bravely fighting a lengrhy illness with his family by his side.  He was a native of Johnson City, Tenn. a son of the late Lester James and Ruth Alice Ward Walsh and preceded in death by his brother: Randall  Keith Walsh. He  had been employeed by Collins-Aikman for over 30 years. He was a member of Hillcrest Church. 
Survivors: Wife of 43 years: Rebecca Gail Moses Walsh of Athens, Tn., Three Daughters: Holly Jade  Walsh of Chattanooga, Tn., Megan Noelle  and Justin Thomas of  Athens, Tn., Caitlin Rebecca  and Hank Brock of Etowah, Tn.,  Son: Nicholas Adam and Melissa Walsh of  Knoxville, Tn, Brother: Steve and Penny Walsh of Knoxville, Tn., Sister-in-laws: Rhonda Walsh of Cleveland, Tn., Sandra Cardin of Athens, Tn., Jean Moses of Athens, Tn. Brother-in-law: Larry and Kim  Moses of Athens, Tn.  Eight Grandchildren: Jeannie Brock, Carter Brock, Paisley Brock, Lucy Brock, Lakelee Brock, Piper Thomas, Reed Thomas, and Isaac Thomas, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Hillcrest Church with Rev. Zach Davis and Justin Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 at the church.
