Roger Keith Adams

Roger Keith Adams, are 61 of Ten Mile, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at his residence.  A native of Pikeville, Kentucky and a resident of Ten Mile and Niota for the past 30 years, he was the son of the late Mack Styles and Sarah Marie Fields Adams.  He retired from Schott-Gemtron in Sweetwater after 26 years of service and was preceded in death by one brother Paul Adams and Father-in-law: Clyde Shultz.  He was a loving husband, listening Step-dad, gracious son-in-law, great son, and brother.  He enjoyed fishing, cruising trips and vacations.  He loved his Gemtron Family.

• Wife of 18 years: Karen Gail Shultz Adams of Ten Mile, TN
• Step-Son and Partner: Chris Shelton and Gegetta Ferris of Maryville, TN
• Mother-in-law: Reva Hampton Shultz of Ten Mile, TN
• Three Sisters:  Rita Thompson,  Robin Carroll, and Valerie Knox all of Sweetwater, TN
• Two Brothers and Sisters-in-law:  Timmy and Cathy Adams of Philadelphia, TN Samuel and Darlene Adams of Sweetwater, TN
• Step-Granddaughter: Shanantha Whitted
• Four Great Step-Grandchildren: Dillin Walden, Brandy, Abby, Cayson Whitted
• Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

Funeral Services will be 7:00 PM Monday, July 22, 2019 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Couch officiating.  Interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Clearwater Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Chris Ponder, Mark Kettenball, Mark Vance, Tim Adams, Tanner Adams, Sam Adams and Brody Adams.  Honorary pallbearers will be â€‹Jerry Cagle, Ernest Jones, Keith Walker and James Campbell.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 Monday in the funeral home.
