Robin Renee Casteel Zarnehei age 63, of Athens passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at her residence.
A native and life-long resident of Athens she was a daughter of the late Ray and Rachel Raper Casteel.
She was a former employee of Chattanooga Auto Auction and various other administrative positions. She was very involved with the Sweetwater feeding ministry Jehovah Jireh where she was one of the main cooks. She loved spending time with her grandbabies who were her pride and joy.

Husband of 41 years, Ali Zarnehei of Athens
1 son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Brittany Zarnehei of Erwin;
2 daughters and sons-in-law, Amber and Kirt Woodby of Sweetwater, Kyra and Wesley Blaylock of Greenville;
1 brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Melinda Casteel
1 sister-in-law, Frides Zarnehei;
2 brothers-in-law Mohammed Zarnehei and Amin Zarnehei;
Grandchildren, Ashlyn Zarnehei, Nehemiah Woodby, Lydia Woodby, Crystal Blaylock, Amillo Garcia, Alasia Garcia and Desto Garcia
A host of other extended family and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2026 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.
