Bob and his family were a members of the TWR family on Bonaire. As a TWR family, we send our love to his extended family. I am sure he heard "Well done good and faithful servant" upon his entry into the presence of Jesus.

Lauren Libby, International President of TWR May 26 2022 2:16 PM

Remembering Bob with fond memories while on Bonaire in 1986. Bob would always light up the room with his smile. Thank you, Bob, for a life well lived for Jesus.

I am thankful to Bob for his goodness, and his leadership, when I was a young missionary on Bonaire with TWR from 1985-1986.

I got to know Bob through Judi. We worked together at Athens Regional(Starr). We became close coworkers and I loved her kind spirit and sweet personality. I missed her when I moved away. I returned to Englewood and again enjoyed hearing Bob on the radio. I would call in requests. We both grew up Methodists, and missed singing and hearing the Christmas hymn”There’s a Song in the Air”. He finally found a recording of it. I would call and thank him for playing something that I loved to hear, and encourage his good work.
I really loved hearing him read his journal about growing up and his life’s stories. He loved his grandchildren and wanted them to know. There just aren’t many people that could walk in his shoes…he was a great, kind man.
He fought a good battle; I’m positive that he WON. His spirit is surely home with His Lord and Savior.
May God bless and keep each of you in the family.

Bob Ketchersid was a very kindhearted and gentleman. I will always remember his voice and knowledge he shared at WYXI! Rest well.

Your parents showed warm hospitality and kindness to me (and I'm sure many others) when I arrived on Bonaire in 1984 as a young, single missionary. Blessed be their memory.

Bob hired me at WSB in Atlanta in 1980. I was just 23-years-old. I will forever be grateful for the professional opportunity he gave me. He left WSB for missionary work shortly after I joined the news staff. I will always remember him fondly.
