Richard Howard Brown III

Richard Howard Brown,III, age 93. of Englewood, passed away Friday, October 2, 2025 at his residence. A native of Mt Holly, New Jersey and a resident of McMinn County for over 10 years, he was the son of the late Richard H. Jr and Dorothy Evelyn Matthews Brown. Richard was a retired Master Seargant with the U.S. Army/Air Force having served in the Vietnam and in the Korea War. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War, and an active member of the Living Heritage Museum. He was also a member of the Chilhowee Rod and Gun Club, and was preceded in death by two sister, Dorothy May Cranmer and June Mang.

Survivors include; two nieces, Wanda Bocci (Joe) and Robin Wayner (Tom) of New Jersey.

Richard requested no local service in this area, however, there will be a private burial in New Jersey at a later date.
