Rev. Bobby Dolan

Rev. Bobby Dolan, age 88 of Englewood, went to be with the Lord Frida
March 1, 2019. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County.  He was the
son of the late Cyrus Burkett and Flora McKinney Dolan. He was a member of
Clay Hill Baptist Church and he preached the Word for 50 years. He loved the
Lord and his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by:

• His brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Betty Dolan
• Sister, Sue and Austin Dixon 
• Brothers-in-law, Dillard Underdown, Jim McKeown, James Johnson and Frank Moses
• Sister-in-law, Eva Sue Johnson.

Survivors include:

• Wife of 63 years, Inez Faye Johnson Dolan of Engelwood
• 3 Daughters and sons-in-law; Diane Collins of Englewood, Faye and Jim Torbett of Madisonville and Barbara and Jeff Sharp of Niota
• One son, Vonnie Dolan of Englewood
• Nine grandchildren, 
• Seventeen great-grandchildren,
• Two great-great grandchildren 
• Several nieces and nephews
• Sister, Viola Underdown of Athens
• Two Sisters-in-law Sarah McKeown of Deloniga, Ga and Alma Moses of Maryville, Tn
• Brothers-in-law, Mike and Patty McGhee of Yulee, Florida, Orthell Johnson of Etowah, Tommy Johnson of Indiana. 
• Sisters-in-law, Linda and Alfred Harris of Englewood, Norma Johnson of Casey, South Carolina

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2019 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Delbert Umphrey, Rev. Paul White and Rev. Craig Wilcox officiating.

The interment will follow the service at McMinn Memory Gardens.  

The pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm Sunday, March 3 2019 at the funeral home.
