Rebecca Gail Delk

Rebecca Gail Delk age 60 of Athens passed away Sunday, April 20,2025 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

A native of Vero Beach, Florida and resident of Athens for most of her life she was a daughter of the late Raiford Howard and Maudine Grimes Carter and was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Byrd.

She was a former employee of Mills Products. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and painting. She loved growing and taking care of flowers.

Survivors:

1 Son, Tommy Delk III of Michigan;

3 daughters, Amanda Delk, Tara Shelton and Tonya Peterson all of Athens;

14 Grandchildren, Joshua, Brookelyn, Charlie, Kloey, Kylia, Hunter, Hayden, Nathanial, Johnathan, Cheyanne, Taryn and Lyric.

4 sisters and Sheila Weir, Missy Titlow and Barbara Boruff all of Athens,

Patricia Clay of Rome, GA

1 Brother, Bobby Carter of Michigan

Several nieces and nephews
