Patsy Scroggs Witt Johnson

PATSY SCROGGS WITT JOHNSON, age 89 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at her residence. Her parents were William Arthur and Daisy Mae Scroggs. She was a lifelong and native of Tennessee and made her home with her sister: Ester Gardner and Husband: Robert Gardner and preceded in death by her First Husband: R. L. Witt and Second Husband: John H. Johnson, Sr. Two Daughters: Loretta June Witt Davis, Infant Daughter: Becky Pearl Witt, Son: Richard Lonnie Witt, Sister: Carrie Eaves, Three Brothers: Elmer, Cleatus and James Scroggs, Infant Granddaughter: Kassidy Lynn Jones, She was a faithful member of The Church of God Sanctified and a media member of Family Worship of Baton Rouge, La. 

She behind to cherish her memory: Daughter: Sherri Lynn Jones and son-in-law: Minister Kosygin Jones, Sr. Two Sisters: Ester Gardner and Cora Campbell, Three Grandsons: Eric Z. Witt, Kosygin Jones, Jr., and Kobe (Samantha) Lane Jones, Great Granddaughter: Destin Marie Witt, Two Great Grandsons: Kyree Jones and Kannon Jones, Daughter-in-law: Mary Witt (Kimmie and Marcus), Step Children: Stephanie Johnson (Sons) and John Johnson, Jr. (Laura) and children.

Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Monday in Hampton Cemetery with Jerry Stephens officiating. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons: Eric Witt, Lamech Jones, Kobe Jones, Jordan Johnson, Cameron Looney, and Caleb Johnson. There will be no formal visitation.
