Patricia "Pat" Lee Hale
March 17, 1937 — March 14, 2024
Married 66 years, Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene (Gene) Hale, the daughter of the late Hubert and Flora Edna (nee Anderson) Lowe. Pat is also preceded in death by her three sisters Coleen Lowe, Barbara Jean Lowe, Lynda (Lowe) Sloan, brother John (JW) Lowe and brother-in-law, Benjamin (Tommy) Sloan.
She is survived by her niece Deirdre (Sloan) and Richard Baker, niece Kimberly (Sloan) and Charles Esterline, and nephew Benjamin II and Bonnie Sloan, as well as many great nieces, nephews and one great-great niece. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Terri Lowe and Gene’s cousin and Pat’s dear friends, John (Jackie) and Sandra Pennington.
Pat was an active member of her church, First Baptist Church Athens, TN. An avid lover of animals, she supported the McMinn Regional Humane Society and ASPCA. She had a great love of the theater seeing her favorites, Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables, in New York City, Atlanta and Nashville on many occasions. She worked as a paralegal in Athens, TN, supporting Gene’s law practice for over 50 years.
The family will receive family and friends Thursday, April 4th from 12 - 2 PM at Laycock Hobbs Funeral Home, Athens TN. The interment service will be held at 2:30 PM at McMinn Memory Gardens, Athens TN.
