Olen Jerome Anderson

Olen Jerome Anderson, age 81 , of Niota, TN, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at his Residence in Niota, TN.  He was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, a son of the late William Nelson and Johnnie Zoe Shoemaker Anderson and  preceded in death by Brothers: Kenneth Anderson, Houston Anderson, and Roy Lee Anderson.  He retired from Vestal Mfg. Co. and was a member Tellico Ave. Baptist Church. . 
Survivors: Brother: Jerry Anderson of Niota, Tenn., Two Sisters: Billie Ann Knox  of Niota, Tenn. and Linda Jane Monroe of Las Vegas, Nev. and  8 nieces and 12  nephews.
Funeral services 7:00 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs  Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Cole officiating.  Graveside will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in Foster Cemetery. Actve pallbearers will beJustin Smallen, Brian Akens, Angie Akens,Jerry Anderson, Nick Anderson and Jr. Anderson. The family will recieve friends from 5-7 Monday in the funeral home.
