Marie Plaster

 Marie Plaster age 81 of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2022. Marie was a current resident of Athens and a native of Niota. Marie lived most of her adult life in Knoxville and Chattanooga where she worked for TVA before she retired after 27 years. Marie was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church in Chattanooga where, before her illness, she was active with the senior adults. She was preceded in death by her parents Arlie and Nannie Wyatt Plaster; Sister, Diane Casteel and her niece, Misty Deans. 
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, brothers, Jackie (Towanna) Plaster, Billy Plaster; nieces, Hayley (Billy) Tindell, Kelli (Chad) Hester; nephews, Mark (Tiffany) Plaster, Kevin (Jessica) Plaster; several great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Doug Alexander officiaiting. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
