Marcella Annette Robison

MARCELLA ANNETTE ROBISON, age 67, of Athens TN. passed away, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she is the daughter of the late Hubert and Alice Grisham Matthews.

She was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to the mountains, spending time with family and teaching. She was a retired Pre-K teacher and a former employee of Athens Head Start.

Survivors:

Husband of 40 years, Eddie Robison;

Daughter, Lori Robison of Athens;

1 very special granddaughter, Cheyenne.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Arwood officiating. Interment will follow in Niota Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
