Maggie "Missy" Lynn Castillo

Maggie Lynn "Missy" Castillo, age 47 of Athens passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her residence. She was a very loving wife and mother.
A native and life-long resident of Athens, she was a daughter of the late James Glenn Evans, and was preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Sally and Alvin "Abe" Pueirtt, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Jose and Victorina Castillo, Sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Ezequiel Castillo, special nephew, Christopher Osborne, and a very special cousin Barbara Jo Shaver.

Survivors:

• Husband of 23 years, Evodio Castillo;
• Mother, Wanda Pueirtt Evans,
• 2 sons Jose Castillo of Englewood and Evodio James "E.J." Castillo of Athens;
• 1 daughter, Marqueta Castillo of Athens
• 1 brother, Glenn Evans of Athens
• 3 granddaughters, Lilianna, Arabella, Jadyn;
• Very Special cousins, Rebecca Constant, Mellissa Allison, and Lisa Osborne;
• Special nephew Angel Castillo
• Several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a very special thank you to E.J.'s nurses for their love and support during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Stephens officiating.
The interment will follow at Clearwater Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-2 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Dakota Sisson, Glenn Evans, T.J. Hembree, Austin Lankford, John Allison and Danny Harris.
