Layla Clair Long

LAYLA CLAIR WILSON LONG,  age 27 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in Athens, Tenn. She was a lifetime resident of McMinn County. She was a member of East Athens Baptist Church. She loved to spend time picking flowers in which she made arrangements and enjoyed playing basketball and was a very accomplished artist.
Survivors: Husband: Michael Long of Calhoun, Tenn., Son: Braden Ray Long of Athens, Tenn. Father: Don Wilson of Athens, Tenn. Mother: LaVonne May-Wilson of Athens, Tenn.  Brother and sister-in-law: Lincoln and Bayli  Wilson of Athens, Tenn. Niece: Bonnie Lou Wilson, In-laws:  Bette and J. T. Carter
Graveside services will be Friday in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Steve Sherlin officiating.
