Justin Edward Key, Sr.

JUSTIN EDWARD KEY SR.,  age 34 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Friday, January 11, 2019, at Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens, Tenn. He was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and was a resident of McMinn County, Tenn. most of his life.  He was an employee of DENSO. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served 4 years active duty in Alaska.  He was a graduate of Tennessee Weslyan University received a B. S. in Business Administration and Fiance. He was a certified E.M.T. and was very active and coached Youth Football for 10 years.

He is preceded in death by:

• Grandparents: Edward and Irene Key,
• Biological Mom: Connie Key.

Survivors include:

• His wife: Krystle Alexandra Key of Athens, Tenn.,
• Two Sons: Justin Edward Key, Jr and Joshua Edward Key of Athens, Tenn.,
• Mother: Angie Johnson  of Athens, Tenn.,
• A very special Aunt: Eva Brown of Athens, Tenn.
• Three Brothers: Jordan Heath Johnson of Sweetwater, Tenn.,  Xavier Antonio Noland of Athens, Tenn., Caleb Joshua Johnson of Athens, Tenn.,
• Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Leuty McDermott officiating. Interment will follow in Buttram Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jay Jones, Ed Blackwell,Tyler Crittenden, Jonathan Lamb, Nathan Freeman, Avery Looney, Nick Vincent, and Nyzaya Vincent.  The family will receive friends from 1-3 Wednesday in the funeral home.
