"Joe" Thomas Joe Paul

Thomas "Joe" Paul age 63 of Athens, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late Oba Leo and Frances Barker Paul. He was a retired Jouneyman Electrician who worked for Miller Construction Company. He loved boat riding on the lake, and was a past member of the Elks Club and was Chairman of the House Committee at one time. He was preceded in death by by his brother, Lee Paul; and his sister, Jane Paul.

He was survived by his wife Vicki Prescott Paul of Athens; brother, Mike Paul of Knoxville; nieces; Sara Grey, Renee' Mahaffey, Paula Adams and Becky Steele.
