So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I will forever have found memories of to going to the Country Market to pick up a few things for grandma (Mildred Brakebill) or to get myself some candy or snacks. Not to mention Jim and Eva's faithfulness to their church. It was always a blessing to visit First Baptist and worship with them for community services. They are missed. My heart goes out to those left behind.

Jim Brakebill was a good friend to me. He taught me Morse Code so I could earn a FIrst Class badge as a Boy Scout. He shared my interest in Science Fiction movies and enjoyed a good laugh. Although Kevin and Rick were peers, Jim helped fill some of the many holes in the life of a fatherless kid. I am saddened to know Jim is no longer in the world. My heartfelt sympathies go out to both Kevin and Rick and I pray God will comfort them in this profound loss.
