Jackie Ray Frye

JACKIE RAY FRYE,  age 54 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at his residence. He a native of Sweetwater, Tenn. resident of McMinn County, Tenn. most of his life, and preceded in death by his father: Bobby Ray Frye. He was an employee of McMinn County Landfill. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a veteran of Army National Guard and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors: Wife of 35 years: Loretta Gail Lankford Frye of Athens, Tenn., Two Daughters: Nickie Walden of Niota, Tenn., Alisha Frye of Athens, Tenn.,  Step-Son: Jonathan Allen Lankford of Sweetwater, Tenn., 10 Grandchildren: Mother: Nellie Price of Athens, Tenn., Brother: Dan Frye of  Athens, Tenn., 
Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Simpson officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in Sullins Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Daniels, Justin (Spanky) Ovloskey, Malachi Bogle, James (Spanky) Whitner, and Davis (Scooter) Humphreys and Dan Frye.
