Gregory Houston Mason

GREGORY HOUSTON MASON, age 44 went home to be with The Lord, Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, at his residence. He was born in  Bradley County, Tenn., a lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tenn.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and The National Guard. He attended Mt. Verd Baptist Church and was a member of the V F W Honor Guard.

Preceded in death by:

• His Mother: Gail Jack Mason,
• Grandparents: Willie Mason, Lorene Carroll, Houston " Hudey" and Nina Jack.

Survivors include

• His Wife: LaCrista Mashburn Mason of Athens, Tenn.,
• Two  Daughters he loved very much: Kayla Mason and Cameron Mason both of Athens, Tenn.
• His Loving Father: David Mason of Athens, Tenn.,  
• Two  Precious Grandchildren: Bryleigh Trew and Aubry Peeler
• Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Mt. Verd Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating.

Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 6, 2018 in McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
