Gia Lee McKheean

Gia Hester McKheean, age 53 of Athens, passed away, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Parkwest Medical Center. A native of Cleveland and resident of McMinn County most of her life, she was a person of art in every form. A gardener, an artist, an excellent cook and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her grand parents, Ralph and Levena Hester and Sue and Tillman Mitchell; mother-in-law, Shirley McKheean, father-in-law, Robert McKheean.

Survivors include, husband of 30 years, Robbie Lee McKheean of Athens; parents, Jimmy Lee Hester of Hermitage, Tennessee, Deborah Lee Mullins of Athens; brother, Joshua Hunter Mullins of Athens; sister-in-law, Cheryl South of Athens; four children, Jacob Hunter Hester of Englewood, Logan Gunner McKheean of Athens, Emory Sue Madison McKheean of Athens, Piper Lee McKheean of Athens; grandchildren, Leon Alexander Hunt, Atlas Lee McKheean, Violet Alisaie Hester; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
