Geraldine Cunningham Patterson

GERALDINE NEWMAN CUNNINGHAM PATTERSON,  age 89 of Decatur, Tn. passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, in NHC of Athens, Tenn. She was a native of McMinn County, Tenn. , resident most of her life of Meigs County, Tn. a daughter of the late Walter and Athelene Freeman Newman and preceded in death by  Husband: Alfred Cunningham, Jr., Son: Walter Eugene Cunningham, Granddaughter: Theresa Cunningham, and  Sister: Cleta Mae Gregory. She was retired Cunningham Grocery and member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. 
Survivors: Daughter: Frances Lockmiller , Son and Daughter-in-law: Ray and Brenda Cunningham  , Daughter-in-law: Jane Cunningham, Brother: Walter Newman, Ernie Newman,  Two Sister:  Olavine MIller , Sammie  Woods , Four Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Croft and Rev. Raymond Clore officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Oak Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will Brian Powers, Alex Powers, David McKenzie, Cody McKenzie, Josh Cunningham, and Ron Tharpe .
