Frankie Elliott-Brown

Frankie Upchurch Brown-Elliott age 90 of Athens passed away, Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Spring Arbor assisted living.

A native and life-long resident of McMinn County she was a daughter of the late Frank and Vesta Duggan Upchurch and was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward (Ed) Brown and a sister Helen Upchurch.

She was a former employee of Athens Federal Savings and Loan Company where she worked as a former Property Appraiser and Assistant Vice-president having retired after more than 30 years of service.

Survivors:

Her children Sharon (Emmette) Johnson, Jerry Brown and Karen (Jeff) McCay;

Grandchildren, Jeremy (Lindsay) Brown, Micki (Brian) Key, Joey (Brianna) Brown and Max (Katie) McCay;

8 great-grandchildren;

A private graveside service will be held at McMinn Memory Gardens.
