Ethel Ruth Ratledge

Ethel Ruth Coleman Ratledge, 90, of Athens, TN, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville.
Ruth was a longtime member of Valley Road Baptist Church.  She was a retired employee as a cashier at the White Store.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Mattie Coleman; son and spouse, Stephen and Sandra Ratledge; sisters, Norma Honeycutt, Naomi Chapman, Joyce Alford, Harriett Crowder, and Kaye Black.
Survivors include her loving husband, of what would have been 74  years on May 15th, Acton Ratledge; son and spouse, Lucky and Ellen Ratledge; granddaughter and spouse, Kristine and James Boggess; grandson and spouse, Joseph and Candice Ratledge; grandson, Shane Ratledge; great grandchildren, Kaylee Boggess, Annabel Ratledge, Hiram Ratledge, Harper Tarledge; siblings, Thelma McNutt, Nelson Coleman, Donald Coleman, Carolyn Kin, Peggy Burger, Johnnie Markland, Joe Coleman, and Phyllis Jackson; brother and sister in law; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews; amny other relatives; and numerous friends and neighbors.
