A native and life-long resident of Athens, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Joy Thomas on May 8, 1980 and his grandfather, Luther Greene, Jr. (June), on March 24, 2012.
He was employed as a Lead at Tennessee Wesleyan University Maintenance department for the last 5 years. He loved his job and all of his coworkers.
He was an avid gardener, loved thrifting, and was devoted to taking care of his mother. Panama City Beach was his paradise.

Sister and Brother-in-law, Natasha Greene-Fine and Patrick Woodside, Jr. of Knoxville;
Grandmother, Marion Elizabeth Greene of Riceville;
3 Uncles, Daryl (Queenia) Greene of Calhoun. Ronnie (Robbie) Greene of Deactur and Jim Greene of Riceville
1 Aunt, Helen Greene
Nephews and Niece. Trentin Fine, Patrick Woodside III, Carisma Fine.

Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Ben Henderson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
