Donald "Don" Joe Harrill

DONALD J. "DON" HARRILL,  age 71 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Starr Regional Medical Center of Athens. He was born in Madisonville, Tenn., longtime resident of McMinn County and a son of the late Richard Harrill, Sr. and Annie Etheleen Stephens Harrill. He was owner and operator of Don Harrill Builders for over 40 years. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Athens.

Survivors include:

• Wife of 48 years: Jean Hackney Harrill of Athens, Tenn.,
• Two Daughters and son-in-law: Christy and Tony Martin of  Knoxville, Tn.;  Paula Crossland of Gallatin, Tenn. 
• Two Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Richard Harrill, Jr. and Sharon Harrill of Athens, Tenn., Eugene and Ann Harrill of Knoxville, Tenn., 
• Sister: Loretta and A. G. Smith of Athens, Tenn.,
• Three Granddaughters:  Emma Grace Martin, Riley Kate Martin, and Morgan Crossland,
• Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.

Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 16, 2019 in McMinn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home.
