Daniel Lee Swafford

Daniel "Danny" Lee Swafford, age 62 of Riceville passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at his residence.
A native of Warren, MI and resident of Riceville most of his life, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, David Allen Swafford.
Danny was of the Baptist faith, never met a stranger and would do anything to help anyone.  He was employed for more than 40 years in construction mostly in the craft of Iron Work.  He worked part-time with with his friends, whom he thought a lot of at Benton Wrecker Service.  
His hobbies included raising his well known chickens and enjoyed antiques and creating small things out of wood.
Mother, Joan Key of Riceville;
1 daughter, Danielle Swafford of Riceville;
1 sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ron Kischuck of Detroit, MI;
2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Frances Swafford of Destin, FL, Joe and Tammy Swafford of Athens.
Several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2022 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home.
