Carolyn Ann Johnson

CAROLYN ANN GREGORY JOHNSON, age 84 of Athens, Tenn. passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident, a daughter of the late Frank and Willie Sue "Bill" Gregory and preceded in death by Son: Jeffrey Ray Johnson, Sister: Frankie Sue McConnell, Brother: Bob Gregory. She was a nurse and office manager for Dr. Bill Trotter and Dr. Jeffrey Wallace and was a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church.

Survivors: Husband: Danny Ray Johnson of Athens, Tenn., Son: Brook Johnson of Athens, Tenn., Step-Daughter: Sabriena Bagby of North Carolina, Sister: Nellie Walker Moss of Athens, Tenn. Four Grandchildren: Gregg Johnson, Katie Andelman, Chloe Johnson, Graham Johnson, Three Great Grandchildren: Margo, Layla, and Ruby, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in McMinn Memory Gardens with Rev. Donnie Dalton and Rev. Ricky Pryor officiating. Active pallbearers will be family. There will be no formal visitation. Family and friends will meet at McMinn Memory Gardens on Tuesday for the graveside service.
