Brenda Fay Clark Rollo

Brenda Fay Clark Rollo, age 76 of Athens, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

A proud native of Pensacola, Florida, and a long-time, cherished resident of Athens, Tennessee, Brenda lived a life defined by faith, family, and service. She was the beloved daughter of the late Carol Cooper and Bessie Lucille Foxworth Clark. Brenda was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 51 years, Miles Franklin Rollo, Jr., with whom she built a beautiful life anchored in love and mutual devotion.

Brenda’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. As an active and deeply committed member of Athens First Baptist Church, she dedicated countless hours to supporting her church community, embodying a spirit of Christian love and generosity. She was a woman who gave entirely of herself-whether she was organizing church functions, volunteering her time, or stepping up to help a neighbor in need. Her warmth and selflessness left an indelible mark on the Athens community.

Beyond her civic and spiritual devotions, Brenda’s greatest joy was found within her home. She was a fiercely dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kitchen was always open, and she famously cooked for everyone, ensuring no one ever left her table hungry. Her passion for life bloomed beautifully in her gardens, and she found great joy in traveling and exploring new places.

Above all, Brenda was her grandchildren’s biggest fan. She never missed an opportunity to be involved in their lives, actively participating in their milestones and enthusiastically watching them play sports. Her legacy of love, hospitality, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Her children Trey (Beth) Rollo, Brendan (Amanda) Rollo, Chandler (Autumn) Rollo, and Keltsey (Corey) Brenizer;

Grandchildren, Kyndal Bree Rollo, Jaxon Miles Rollo, Sophie Grae Rollo, Hudson Jace Rollo, Journey Grace Rollo, Justice Lane Rollo, Addi Grace Brenzier, Harper Scout Brenizer, and Hadley Brenay Brenizer;

Siblings, Susan Hall, Jack Clark, Kathy Barlow;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Athens First Baptist Church with the Pastor Josh Vance officiating. Interment will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-1:00PM prior to the service at the church.
