Guestbook

Rev. Jerry and family, I just found out today that Brenda had passed away. I sent my prayers & love to you all. I live in Maryville, TN now. After 23 years in FL decided to move home and ended up in Maryville where I was born and my only sister lives, I am about a half mile from the house I was born in and 4 miles from my sister. My husband died while we were in FL 26 years ago. I stayed down there 17 years after he died but finally got the nerve to move back. Had so much "junk" I didn't want to move but finally decided I needed to be home. I always enjoyed being with Brenda and she was an inspiration to me. Will never forget our Mission trip to SD but can't remember if it was you as pastor or not but I think it was. Say hi to the children for me, don't know if they will remember me or not. God bless you all. Barbara

I accidentally stumbled across this news. My prayers and condolences to the Plaster family. I have many fond memories of Brenda from First Baptist of Decatur. Of all the people I attended church with, she was one of the kindest to me and my children. There was never any doubt her kindness was genuine. She supported me through some tough times and was a wonderful teacher to my daughter. I'll always hold those memories in my heart. No doubt her passing will leave a void in the hearts of all that had the pleasure of knowing her. But rest assured she is dancing on streets of gold! I can only Imagine!
