April Beth Linton

APRIL BETH PETERSON LINTON, age 51 of Athens, Tenn. passed away at Tennova in Turkey Creek on Friday, April, 18, 2025. She was born in Johnson City, Tenn. and was a resident of Athens since 1989. She was a graduate of McMinn County High School and graduated from Carson-Newman with Honors and a degree in Psychology. Her passion in life was Home Schooling her three children . She was a former member of Christ Community Church and attended Christ Way of Ooltewah, Tenn.

Survivors: Husband of 29 years: Ben Linton of Athens, Tenn. Two Daughters and sons-in-law: Aven ( Xavier) Holcomb and Grandson: Warren Holcomb of Athens, Tenn., Alie Linton ( Landon Edwards) of Athens, Tenn. Son and Daughter-in-law:: Jackson (Rebecca) Linton of Athens, Tenn., Father and Mother: Dr. Carlos and Julia Peterson of Birchwood, Tenn.

Sisters: Emily (Shane) Webb of Athens, Tenn., Ginny (Doug) Worsley of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Mother-in-law: Sue Linton of Charleston, S. Carolina, Father-in-law: Gerald (Durelle) Linton of Athens, Tenn., Sister-in-law: Michele Linton, Brother-in-law: Tim (Natalie) Linton, Uncle: Bill Tugwell of Athens, Tenn., several nieces and nephews.
