WILLINE JONES MELTON age 69 of Athens, Tenn. died Friday, December 12, 2008, at Life Care Center of Athens, Tenn.

She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, Tennessee and a daughter of the late Bruner and Dorothy True Jones.

She was a former employee of Brownies, Legends, Smalls Drive-in and The Hitching Post Restaurant in Etowah, Tenn.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors: Husband of 41 years: Marvin W. Melton of Athens, Tenn.  Sister and Brother-in-law: Alice and William Boyd of Englewood, Tenn.

Funeral Services will be 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 15, 2008 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Oran Creasman officiating.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.  Active Pallbearers will be Dustin Melton, Darren Melton, Otis Parnell, Matthew Parnell, and George Parnell.

The Family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.
