ROBERT LEE BOONE, age 61 of Englewood, Tenn. went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness Sunday, January 4, 2008, in Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Tenn.

He was a native of Milledgeville, Ga. and had been a resident of McMinn County,Tenn. for 15 years.

He was a son of the late Robert and Daisy Loyd Boone and preceded in death by Sisters: Beverly Birchfield, Manokau Youngblood and Brother: Donald Boone.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and Regonized by the Salvation Army in Toccoa, Ga. for Special Service. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors: Wife, Patricia Hallman Boone of Englewood, Tenn. with whom would have celebrated their 41st wedding anninversary on Jan. 6th.  Daughter and Son-in-law, Kimberly Boone and Darrell Bergin of Niota, Tenn.  Brother, Wayne Boone of Toomsboro, Ga.  Two Sisters, Debra Cooper of Toomsboro, Ga. and Becky Smalley of Toomsboro, Ga.  Three Grandchildren, Emily, Allison and Samuel Bergin.  Special Nephews, Rob and Chris Birchfield.  Several other nieces and nephews.

Memorial services 11:00 A. M. Saturday with Rev. Scott Curtis and Rev. Gary Bender officiating.
