Kerry Harold Roberts, age 40 of Athens, died Friday, January 18, 2008.

A native of Pontiac, Michigan and resident of McMinn County since 1980, he was preceded in death by his father: Louis Roberts, Sr.  Stepfather, Dr. Steven M. Wexel and was a carpenter.

Survivors: Mother, Eugenia "Genia" Dodson Wexel of Athens.  Son: Kanen Roberts of Athens.  Daughters: Cassie Roberts and Asia Roberts both of Athens.  Brothers & sisters-in-law: Robbie & Cayci Roberts of Athens.  Robert Michael Kaplan of Dearborn, Michigan.  Dr. Phillip & Diane Kaplan of Dearborn, Michigan.

Services will be 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Heffner and Victor Whitted officiating.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jeff Blair, Scott Blair, Gary Heffner, Brian Ford, Greg Shephard and Anthony Jack.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
